Mahidol University has been providing education, technical and research works as well as services to benefit Thai society for more than 123 years. Side by side with the long history of development is an array of intellectual accomplishments which have constantly earned the university wide respect and recognition from national as well as international academic circles.

Giving priority to conservation which is inherent in the history of its development, the university decided to launch the systematic development policy on archives and museums by a promotion of network and collaboration of the internal and external archives and museums associations. At present, Mahidol University offers information services through altogether 39 archives and museums to provide knowledge as well as publicize its long years of accomplishments.
